Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby have their teams in the top two spots in the NHL Eastern Conference - and you can expect to see them stay there.
Ovechkin scored his 16th goal of the season as the Washington Capitals sunk the Buffalo Sabres 2-0. But they remain second, though on equal points, behind Crosby's Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Penguins stretched their winning run to three games as Sid the Kid netted one and made another in a 3-1 victory at home to the Montreal Canadiens.
