Sidney Crosby's golden goal in overtime settled one of the most gripping hockey games in history as Canada beat USA 3-2 to win the gold medal. In doing so, Canada set a new record with the most golds ever for a host nation at the Winter Olympics - 14.
Leading 2-1 heading into the final seconds of the third period, Canada were within touching distance of the gold, only for Zach Parise to level with 24 seconds left.
But Crosby had the final say, firing home the winning goal from Jarome Iginla's pass to provide the perfect ending for Canadian fans.
