Both midweek Carling Cup semi-finals have been postponed due to freezing conditions in the north of England.
Blackburn were due to host Aston Villa tonight with the Manchester derby to follow tomorrow but a decision has been taken to play the ties later in January.
As things stand, City and United will contest their first leg on January 19.
